Opposites are fine if it's like insignificant things I think - maybe they want to watch a romance and you want to watch a horror.

But I think there needs to be some similarity at a deeper personal level. Maybe just me. I don't want to feel bad or guilty or stupid for giving a few bucks to a homeless person on the street -_-

Sounds like a terrible idea. Those tests paint the world in a very black and white sense, with the questions and predetermined answers often leaving holes or variables out. Your answer regardless of variables is just thrown into a category.

Those tests can be fun to pass time, however the world should not start taking merit in them.

I'd like someone to create banter with me and argue for the sake of arguing :P

But of course the relationship would completely fall apart if we couldn't empathize with eachothers point of view and understand where that comes from and what that tells you as a partner to enrich the relationship

I totally feel you.. was with an Instagram girl/model (lol) and she taught me many things about staying open minded and shedding the skin of insecurity. She was all about her looks and I'm absolutely the opposite of that, I have no connection to what I look like considering I'm only a vessel for the next life >_>

Never watched that show but yeah, you initially think "Oh, she must have a really naturally loving and committed personality that's who I need!" but then in retrospect you realize that complex is merely a symptom of overbearing codependency resulting from a rough childhood and borderline personality disorder. That thin line is very real and even though it was intense hell removing myself from a stalker, it was definitely valuable experience. Now I'm just happy to be with someone who loves me while also occasionally telling me to suck their dick for making CE comments in real life *shrug*

I don't really know. I imagine two people who don't understand people at all will probably have a rocky relationship but that's wholly my ass speaking.

edit: also maybe I'll put them through a patience test like... we'll just sit together in silence for an hour and see how it goes.

EQ is a crock of shit. A Big Five personality test would give you a better idea of what to expect. Namely, you'd want a partner high in Agreeableness and low in Neuroticism.

Looks cool but I just took it and I don't agree with a lot of the results -_-. I'm 100% more productive than anyone else in my office, but this claims I'm not productive at all lmao.
