I'm guessing, not really knowing the comparative in-universe strength of these things, that the EVA would curb-stomp a Gundam. And if there is any accuracy among the segment of the internet I consulted, the gundam loses this fight due to being unable to penetrate the AT field. They probably can't punch through the AT Field (but I could see this being a subject of debate. They definitely couldn't punch through some of the stronger AT Fields Angels have which are pretty ridiculous but the EVAs? idk maybe) however, most Gundams are just too fast/maneuverable that I don't trust an EVA to hit them which means a Gundam could play evasion and look to cut the power cables. EVAs only have 5 minutes of battery power after which they're helpless. Even in an arena where there are plenty of backup/redundant cables like in EVA canon, I imagine a Gundam could just keep picking them off near indefinitely. The exception here would be end-of-series EVA Unit-01 which uh... just wins kinda easily.
