Okay. Scenario. Youre playing a game of YuGiOh. Its your opponents turn. They have their monster attack your life pints directly.

Fortunately for you, you set Mirror Force the previous turn, which you now activate.



Now your opponent really needs this attack to go through. If it does, theyll win. So in response to your traps activation, they chain Mystical Space Typhoon, and destroy your Mirror Force.



Now, the question. Does your opponents attack go through, or is their monster destroyed?

I know nothing about YGO but I'll take a shot:
The first card says "declare" an attack, so when you activate it, I feel like they still have the option to chain Mystical Space Typhoon to get rid of Mirror Force before the attack goes through?
