i live less than 5 minutes away on feet from my store but still grab a bike because fuck walking in this weather xd

also, it gets kinda boring going to the same store over and over again and see their selection rarely changes.

Google says it's half an hour walk one way to one grocery store, 26 minutes to the one that doesn't have a sidwalk on the side of the road because it's a parkway/highway.

Idk if you'd call that walking distance. I feel like if I had to get ice cream it'd be pretty bad off by the time I got home with it.

Im in a five minute walking distance of a convenience store, a library, a laundry mat, and a dollar store.

I lived a few blocks from a 7 11 for about a decade. But then I moved .

I pretty much live off the main strip.

There are two gas stations, five restaurants, a Walmart, Food Lion and IGA all within a 2 mile area.

I lived right around the corner from a walgreens, dominos and dairy Queen until I moved last November.

Now I'm right around the corner from a graveyard.

It's -20 C here and this is the warmest day of the past week by a noticeable margin. My definition of cold weather is a bit strict <_<

Haha, my friend had a very similar situation for a while.
It was great, but that Pizza smell would definitely make you hungry when you otherwise wouldn't be.

A lot of people seem to basically live at convenience stores like it's their favorite restaurant or some shit. Not very convenient when you're overpaying every day for what you could buy at a supermarket or real restaurant for less.

This is one of the best things about NJ suburbs, and one of the things I really missed while I lived in PR. All amenities, snacks, fine dining, and everything in between, within a 10 minute walk. I can get Korean, Italian, Greek, and Spanish all within the same walk, without backtracking

Its pretty funny you say that considering where you live but yeah all of my Texas friends are freaking out. Hell, I'm your neighbor(in Lousiana) and we're about to get rain and we're likely to have a lot of ice here.

Im like a two minute walk to two different convenience stores, Cold Stone Creamery, Little Caesars, the liquor store, and a butcher shop. Add an extra minute and I can get to a Chinese restaurant and another minute from there is a coffee shop with bomb protein drinks.

I live about 1 mile from a grocery store, so walking is definitely feasible for small trips. But this last week has been about -20F, so i have been staying in.

The homeless camp I live at is right across the street from a Dari Mart, and about 15 minutes walk from an Albertsons further down the road.

At my first apartment complex ever I would often walk to a 24 hour CVS that was less than a 1/4 mile away to get whatever random item I wanted.

Now as a bit of an older young adult, I seriously would probably never do that. I just buy everything I need as part of planned errands during the day.
