Generally being canceled early leads to a rushed conclusion, so pretty much the same level of suckiness. Guess short is better because less of a time sink to get to the bad end.

Depends on the show imo.
Like Supernatural could have ended reasonably at 5 seasons with a slightly different ending. I can enjoy a show for what it is even if some parts, including the ending, are subpar or bad. More good is better even if it includes some bad.
