I'm in sort of a ditch creatively making music. Looking to see what other people are into and listening to atm. Who are your current favorites? Feel free to go with favorite classics as well. I'll end with I'm looking specifically for albums, I like to see the pictures made of a bands/artist's mindframe while they were making it

Some really nice minor sections in there. Trying to pick out the notes by sight was fun lol... They really kick our ass in terms of understanding the mathematics with stuff like this. Not that it's all math or anything but there is the element there...

That's natural reverb... Always good to see in today's day and age.

And those are real strings...

Pretty excellent chill out music. Do they have vocalist sit ins? I'm guessing this is mainly the work of the guitar or piano guy? Kind of breaks my heart a bit...

Oh well thank you.
It is just what I had on so.
But ya, not unlike me to have that going.

And ya, it is very mathematical, music theory basically is.
But not without the human intention, or in Bach's case, maybe the hand of God if there is one.
Ya, I'm a fan.

That piece itself, it's a way other level masterwork it was written towards the end of his life.
It is fun watching the notes though. I do that a lot!

I think my favorite stuff in the classical vein is the turning point from composition into something more like tin pan alley; Debussy, that era. Then again I'm sure there have been countless attempts to sample moonlight sonata into a hip hop style track

Ah, you like The Romantic Era.
Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn are a lot of fun.

I actually tend to skip the Classical era, and from Baroque ((Bach)) or even earlier, and then more Romantic. That is my tendency but I am hugely Baroque when all is said and done.

It's pretty sad we don't teach more of this in schools for dummies like me with no college. Yeah I like the romantic stuff, they tend to be more dramatic with their changes. I'm gonna put on some Tchaikovsky I think and coast a bit, sounds really mellow for when I edit stuff

I am not trying to push anything but...

Tchaikovsky 6Th Symphony might be nice. It's mellow enough.
I am not even into the Symphonic for per-say, but I do like how he hands things.

This is so up my alley...

As a songwriter I always say the irony of it is the melody is the real narrative... And this is excellent. Drop me a PM if you have picks and this topic dies

Oh cool, no just tag me and if you see me on, ask.
I am a bit better with Bach, I can probably always find you something if you tell me your mood.

But ya, feel free to ask. And see Tchaikovsky will make you laugh and cry.
His use of a particular instrument is perfection. Hell, he even pulled off using a Howitzer as an instrument.

I love Drum N Bass, even though it's not that popular in the US. So that's usually what I'm listening to if I'm listening to music.

I really enjoy the chill vibes of Clouds Cross Skies by Fred V & Grafix (The background image is the Album Cover)

Recently heard and loved Sunflowers by Keeno & Thomas Oliver (no album art for this one, but the video was uploaded by the record label, so I'd like to think it's what the artist had in mind)
