I like the vocals a lot The basic premise is that each country sends a newly written song (the contest is always held in May and the song can at the most have been released in September the year before, so September 2020 for this years show). The song cannot be longer than 3 minutes and a few seconds. You cannot have more than 6 people on stage. All vocals must be live but pre-recorded backing vocals are temporarily being allowed for 2021 to minimize the number of people in each delegation because of covid. Ive learned that this style of singing is a traditional style found in countries like Ukraine and Poland.
