Here are entire topics where you got warned for calling African countries rape epidemic shitholes, islamophobia, transphobia and just general severe bigotry and intolerance towards other people's ethnicities and religion. But yeah, I know you put on a much nicer face when around him.

DeadlyNinjaBees is one of the most open minded, decent people I know. He doesnt sugar coat things and hes not afraid to speak his mind.

Hes legitimately good people and Ive known him on the internets for almost 18 years now.

I think Ill trust what I know of him more than some random guy who just wandered into this topic and started finger painting with his own faeces.

He attacked me one day for some reason and then just STALKED me and started spamming me with stuff about that Australian War Crimes commission. He actually ended up getting a week suspension. It was odd.

He's from Norway. I think because I brought up in another topic that Norway had a rape crisis in the early to mid 2010's while I was there and I discussed how challenging it was in the area where my apartment was.

That's when the War Crimes shit came up and he followed me about and kept PMing.

He also did this REALLY odd thing of calling me transphobic with little context, which made me think he was beign satirical for a while. Like how that r/antihatecommunities sub works on Reddit. But no: He just fixated on this story he had created around me and decided I hate trans folk.

I wasn't about it.

As for why he tagged me: I said something about Australia being a country I can feel working towards ending racism pro-actively and that I like that part about here. This image is a dude with a swastika in Australia, so apparently that proves me wrong.

So lets take a picture of one weirdo and judge an entire nation of 25 million people.

Its ok because we are judging an entire nationality not a race.

I mean, he could be totally awesome IRL. The internet DOES have a habit of making us display our most viscerally crapulent aspects. I often think back and become surprised at how shitty I've been compared to how I see myself IRL.
One time, on LUE links, I shared nudes of exes. About a week later I just got this "F***... What have I done?" feeling and told two of them.

I still see that as the worst thing I've ever done, morally. Other than that one manslaughter...

Yeah, I used to be pretty horrible to people on here and the internet in general if I thought they deserved it. It definitely allows us to be ourselves, just more so. For me, it brought out my delight in winding people up in imaginative ways and needling them until they went ballistic.

Id like to think my online persona is much more in line with the person I try to be when I am away from the screen, these days. I tend to think of it in terms of if I had to describe this to my kids in 10 years, would they think Im a shithead? Theres certainly stuff i did back in the old days online that would probably disappoint them, for sure.

In Tasmania, we went full on genocide with both our indigenous fellow humans AND the tiny emus we had!
True story, when I was a kid, I used to dig up those little emu skeletons in my backyard ALL the time. Thought they were large chickens at first until dad explained to me that there used to be tonnes of tiny emus all along the NW coast.

I saw two emus out in the wild this summer: One just hanging around the Williamtown Airport, and another, which was a baby, crossing the road on my way back through the Bylong Valley a couple fo weeks ago. Hadn't seen them in the wild since I live din the NT.

In the town I grew up in, we had two that just lived at the park and would wander around, asking for food. Used to be able to walk your dogs around them and everything.
