For the lie detector one - is it an always-active ability, or will I only know if a given statement is a lie or not if I specifically choose to know? And is it some kind of superhuman "I just know" thing, or am I just really, really good at spotting contradictions / etc? But I am, so I'll take the human lie detector, especially online in verifying legitimate insiders versus LARPers. Anteaterking posted... How often do you guys get lied to in real life? On investment boards and other degenerate sites; we have legitimate insiders including government officials and other well connected individuals in those communities while at the same time hosting a bunch of people who like to feed false information for funsies. The human lie detector skill would come in handy there. And of course, IRL, when money is involved, people will fudge information and have fudged information to make things sound nicer.
