Ever since I was a kid I have always wondered what the appeal is with smoking, drugs, alcohol and general mind numbing/mind altering stuff. I've always enjoyed the same activities like hanging out with friends, being with girls at a dance club, parties, all without intoxicating my brain. Life's moments are too precious to be shit-faced through it imo

itll be legal in your state soon enough. In Cali I can drive 1.5 miles and get as much weed as I want.

Cannabis is federally legal here in Canada, but I've smoked it for a couple years prior.

I would probably set up a quarterly mushroom sesh with some friends, and try LSD. I could see myself having it two times a year.

In your opinion, having never actually experienced it. I absolutely understand not wanting to alter your brain chemistry - which you do with sugar or caffeine - but unless you've done it, you truly cannot understand it.

I've done a bunch of cool shit in my life, and cannabis consumption has never made me forget any of it. I think it's made some moments noticeably more memorable for me. Plus, I tend to pay much more attention to the small things (leaves on trees, stillness in a trail, shadows from stuff, etc).

Edit: drank a whole bunch from 19-25. Basically stopped when I started cannabis. Alcohol was fun to party but way too numbing for me. Cannabis was like the opposite in that it accented stimuli instead of dulling it.

Naw I've never been intrested in drugs I got high a few times which was fun but it isn't something I'd indulge in.

Thought about finding a doctor to prescribed it, but I got my levels tested and I'm fine. For my age its hard to get on around here, maybe in 10-15 years

At the gym I used to go to I had 3 different people try to sell me juice. Lol. It really made me realize how common it is.

No, Im generally not into drugs. Just the occasional drink here and there. I like having all my senses. Weed is legal here and I tried it for migraines but wasnt a fan and it also didnt help.

I bought some weed when in became legal and smoked a bunch just because, but after about a month, it just became normalized.

Now I dont really do it anymore than I did when it was legal. Like once or twice a month at most.

Not touching any hard drugs legal or not. Tried them at parties before, but I dont think its for me. Id rather just have some drinks.

If there were no drug tests and it was all legit Id probably smoke weed and use Adderall daily. Both in moderation, though, during the work week. And the Adderall use would get me to abandon caffeine. On weekends, would probably just smoke a shit ton.

Id still drink beer but probably just once a week. Would likely avoid liquor entirely though.

But honestly I never see my line of work getting rid of drug tests. So its kinda just whatever. I really dont think about the hypothetical too much because of that.

How "legal"? Legal as in not scheduled or legal as in it is in every gas station.

People say that they wouldn't use, but it is easy to say that now than when you have to go to work with 2 hours of sleep and the gas station clerk has adderall.

I'm not saying this is a bad thing but I know people who never did drugs because they never hung out with the "cool" kids.

But I'm sure CE were always the most popular kids though and that is not the case

If they didn't drug test weed, I'd probably try it. I've never smoked weed. Unfortunately I can get tested randomly and lose my entire career.

I guess not as it's extremely easy to access illegal drugs in general.

The one drug I wouldn't mind having legalized is MDMA, aka Ecstasy/Molly. Ironically enough, it's an extremely safe drug if made properly, but the fact that you have to buy it black market means a lot of the times its laced with a bunch of shit you don't want that is far more dangerous than the drug itself.

That being said, I know a lot of people that absolutely overindulge in this particular drug, which is extremely stupid and leads to depression and fucked up brain chemistry as too much use can completely deplete your brain of dopamine. I think a recreationally prescribed dose of 1 pill every 2 or 3 months would be enough to let people engage in a fairly safe and enjoyable drug while also giving people a reasonable limit on how often they should be taking it.

The fact that it's illegal just leads to people taking it in a far more dangerous form and taking it far more often than they should.
