shounen stuff I've been watching recently that are still ongoing

Dragon Quest: The Adventures of Dai (80s shounen that is currently in the middle of airing a remake)

Dr. Stone (Entire world's population is petrified and a genius high school student wakes up 3000 years later and tries to rebuild society using science. Basically Bill Nye the Shounen Anime)

Jujutsu Kaisen (Kind of a mix of Naruto and Bleach but they're sorcerers fighting curses)

Still waiting for Part 6 of JoJo to ever happen

I would also like to know this. Like the must watch anime of the last 5-10 years or something. I'm very behind on most stuff I feel like. I've seen MHA and love it though.

The most popular series right now I think is Demon Slayer so you could check that out and see if you like it

Far from a huge anime consumer. But from the last few years I've really enjoyed: Vinland Saga, The Promised Neverland, Aggretsuko (Netflix).

Violet Evergarden and Jujutsu Kaisen are on my short-list of ones to check out.

Ooh Mob Psycho 100 is one that's interested me, gotta try to remember that one.

The only shows I'd really describe as must watches for any anime fan are The Promised Neverland, and then maybe My Hero Academia and Made in Abyss. Made in Abyss does have somewhat disturbing content which might be a dealbreaker but is otherwise very good. Your Name and A Silent Voice were also pretty good as far as movies go.

Demon Slayer and Mob Psycho 100 were also quite popular though I personally didn't like them so can't recommend them from that standpoint.

Some other things that are some mixture of "I liked this" and "was well-received", but I'd only really recommend if the show is a genre you're interested in:

Can heartily recommend Mob Psycho 100 and March Comes In Like a Lion as my favorites within the last 5 years. Vinland Saga is also fantastic, for sure.

I watched an episode of mob psycho. It was okay. Black Clover was pretty lame.

Don't think Heavens feel is streamed anywhere. I've watched the first OVA. Is it finished yet? And Devilman wasn't my taste at all. Tried that. I've never watched Jojo, kinda don't like to watch incomplete shows.

I think most VN fans said that it was clearly worse than the VN but still pretty good. I never read the VN so idk.

oh yeah. jojo is so ubiquitous now that I kind of forget to mention it. I think jojo is at a place that could conceivably be considered an "ending" if you so desired.

also hunter x hunter is a show that I forget to mention because I just assume people have seen it. but it's amazing.

absolutely insane take, as the final episode of the chimera ant arc is like top 5 anime episode of all time. unless you mean the series itself not having a satisfying conclusion. I can see that, but I argue the resolution to the anime is probably the best the series is gonna get.
