I don't understand why people keep getting upset about rioting and looting when that's always been a means to further social progress. The Civil Rights Movement wasn't entirely innocent either. This idea that we always have to 100% peacefully protest is ridiculous. But more to the point, people seem to be mad about the destruction of private public than the systemic killing of blacks by law enforcement, as well as the 5 people who died at Capitol. iirc, there were more people dead that day than at any given BLM protest on any one given day last year. But people try to paint BLM as fucking terrorists and it's like, so they looted a Target or a mom and pop store (admittedly less defensible)? So fucking what? If that's what it takes to get actual policy admitted, then that's what it takes. Not to mention the vast majority of blood spilled was by cops.

I just feel sorry for people thinking this means anything
