according to statistics, 70% of people admitted that they do NOT check their bag before they leave the establishment and generally they leave too long where it becomes too late to tell them they either missed something or messed something up...are you one of those people or do you actually check?

It depends. Some locations are legit, and I've never had a problem. Other locations, you have like a 40% chance of them getting your order right.

Depends. If I'm getting a ton of food for the family I'll check. If I'm picking up something quick at McDonalds I won't bother.

At Wendy's I'll always check because they suck. But I usually don't go there, largely because they suck

It depends, size of the order, location, and what place or what was ordered. I usually check stuff from a place I could get ingredients I dont like (or family member wont) or if its annoying to get back to the place or I dont have time to return.

If its somewhere I can go back to or would be fine with a minor messup, probably not (especially if I ordered one item and theres clearly an item being handed to me that Ill just eat).

at all 3 mcdonalds locations near me i've ordered "extra pickles/onions", had it rang in as "extra pickles/onions" on the receipt, and somehow ended up receiving no pickles/onions

i'm a ruthless check-er now

I usually do, but they usually don't make mistakes in my experience, maybe missing a condiment but nothing major.

However, recently I've had to do this more with deli sandwiches unfortunately.

Only for places that I know have banjaxed my orders, i.e. giving me Fish-O-Filets instead of McChickens.

The only thing I check is the number of items. If I got 3 things, I make sure there are 3 things in the bag. It's been a very long time since I've gotten a wrong order anywhere I've gone. I also don't go in the drive thru and always go inside. If I have to talk to a person you just say the order clearly and make sure they got everything before moving on (after working in fast food, you learn all the ways people can mess up an order). And I've never had any issues ordering from a kiosk.
