I never did honestly, even moreso since the internet's trend in the early 2000s on towards becoming a huge echo chamber which leads to these things breeding ridiculous amounts of hate.

I like them when people share them knowing they're stupid and totally unbelievable..
When people begin to actually believe them, I don't like them then. Some cases i think they prey in the stupid and insecure to make themselves cash... Like selling a flat earth book...

Well I mean like anti-vaxxers. Their rhetoric is pretty out there but their belief in it leads to real harm and the fact the Internet gives them a soapbox to spread it is only making things worse.

No, I was talking about deep state and subversion conspiracy theories. Things that could be plausible because of lack of disclosure but cause people to draw insane conclusions from nothing.

Like sovereign citizens believing the US government actually treats citizenship as some sort of collateral against foreign debtors and registering with the system means youre forfeiting your right to freedom if those debtors come to collect.

Only conspiracy theories I ever looking up/reading about are the ones that deal with aliens/Area 51.

No way, I dont get tired of hearing about conspiracies, political or otherwise. I do not believe them, but they are usually amusing. I love it when they literally make me laugh out loud.

Ultimately, you could argue that every conspiracy theory has to deal with a deep state or shadow government at some point. Whether it's extraterrestrials, satanists, NWO, flat-earth, etc.

Which sucks though, because we know for a fact that ET phenomenon and world governments hiding information are related to each other. And they get lumped together in the same categories as things like hollow earth lizard people or bigfoot.
