As a minority myself, I don't see why people feel the need to put down majorities in order to uplift minorities (though I have a habit of doing that myself).
On-topic, though, I was aware that maybe some of the hate for her was unjustified, so I decided to watch some interviews of her to see what she was really like. I just don't like her. Some got mad because she was a woman playing a powerful character. Others got mad because Marvel made a big deal out of nothing. It's a little on the nose when Marvel announces its strongest hero yet and she's the first female protagonist they've had.
It's especially irksome since Wanda and Widow, characters who eventually got their own shows, were more interesting characters. In any event, the hate was overblown. ... Copied to Clipboard!
