I never played X/Y, but I'd argue the same thing for Sword/Shield. The idea of the 4-person rival squad (you, Hop, Marnie, and Bede) was actually pretty cool. But other than Hop, they did so little with Marnie and Bede, and both were characters that I found interesting. Bede particularly could have had some very interesting arcs, but they pretty much ended his halfway through. Marnie could have used a more climactic final moment, what we got was kinda boring considering the "Team" of the game was entirely focused on her. --- Congratulations!
