The whole subsisting on frozen dinners, vitamins, and metamucil aren't cutting it. Ever since I started taking vitamins a few weeks ago I've kinda been having trouble having BM's. I know I'm supposed to be getting fiber, but what else? I don't wanna have to take laxatives every week like the people at the old folks home

I started eating bread high in fiber last month and it's really helped me. I just make a sandwich once or twice a day and that's enough for my body.

I've been using a product called Athletic Greens for about 6 months (digestive health is one of their 3 selling points), the difference in how I feel compared to a year ago is indescribable.

I do drink a gallon a day. Deff need more fiber since the bulk of my fiber comes from metamucil. What specifically should I be looking for in a yogurt? Just that it says "pro-biotics" on the label?

Eat as diverse a diet of whole food plants as you can. Grains, legumes, root vegetables, cruciferous vegetables, leafy greens, fruit. Limit processed foods.

Also consider any food allergies or aversions you may have.

Alright so I'm thinking I'll buy a rice cooker and make rice + beans, plus some chicken. I've got an electric griddle in my room so if I get a compact rice cooker I can be all set and not need our kitchen to be unoccupied. So I need to get the ingredients, a rice cooker, and probiotics. Might as well restock on the metamucil while I'm at it.

Also, I'm pretty bored of water. Does that crystal lite shit taste any good?

It's not exactly cheap, but not really expensive either. The subscription I signed up for had a promo code so I pay around $45 per month, but there should be more information here regarding pricing options:

Yeah, it's technically a months supply, but it's monthly for me as I did the subscription deal.

Lmk if you do find a comparable product though, I'm always down to save a couple bucks.
