Wife got pregnant back in October and I prematurely announced it on here and we ended up losing the baby less than a week later.

So now we've been working with the fertility clinic, she's taken a bunch of medicine, we had to inject her with some trigger shot that makes her eggs release, and then the doctor put us on a sex schedule.

Sex is great and all but it's hard to get excited when it's not spontaneous like it normally is. And each appointment is like $400 and she had to go get an ultrasound done to check her egg development every other day for a bit so we racked up like $1500 in a week.

We're actually on round two of all that. Last time she only had one good egg and it didn't work. This time there's at least two good eggs. The doctor seemed really hopeful this time.

I'm running out of money already blew through the "baby room fund" we had been building up in the months leading up to the first pregnancy.

It'll all be worth it though.

there's only X amount of days the female is "most fertile" to have the highest chances of conception.

Yeah it sucks. We're in our late 20s so we see a lot of posts from people announcing pregnancy and many of them are genuinely awful people who didn't want them. Then a year of two later they're always bitching about their kids.

my fiancee is 9 weeks and im terrified at the idea of losing it. i think because conceiving was so easy for us. ive been tracking her period for years so i knew how long it was and when it would start. used a calender to track ovulation dates, do the deed, and bam shes pregnant.

but yeah everyone seems to have trouble with it i think im just waiting for the trouble...
i shouldn't think that way but still

Youre talking shit about people you see on social media who complain about having kids Why not take in a kid that has parents that dont want him or her?

We're not opposed to it. It's hard to explain, right now we'd just prefer to have at least one on our own. Idk if it's just an evolutionary instinct to pass on our genes or something dumb like that.

Sounds like quite a process. My brother-in-law dealt with some similar stuff and it eventually paid off. The wife and I are going for a second kid after the first one happened pretty quickly. We keep track to a degree but nothing has happened so far. Good luck!
