The interesting part is the Kai denotation in the title. That points to it being the PS4 remasters. I was hoping this would be the case, as soon as I saw them porting the PSP games to ps4. Unify them under one ecosystem for ease of transport. Now, this doesn't mean we're going to get them, but this is far more than we've gotten in the past.

The only issue with the Kai versions is the game is really ugly compared to the Joyoland PC ports. The textures are really low quality.

Kinda weird how the listing as Zero no Kiseki instead of Trails from Zero, but this is good news.

It makes sense, too. I doubt they'd get much $$$ by releasing these physically on PS4.

Trails From Zero makes no sense phonetically from an English perspective. Same as Trails from Azure. They won't give us the fan translated titles - they'll go with an official translation when it's there. Sen no Kiseki doesn't translate cleanly to Trails of Cold Steel, for instance.

China and Korea releases. That would explain the Steam listings. Hopefully this makes it easier to actually get the titles, because the current method is bollocks.

It would be easier to buy at least, but that's even assuming Geofront does some extra work for them. I've heard it's a pain in the ass for a lot of people to buy from the official site.

Oh, yeah. Definitely. I was just pointing out how they used the Japanese (Romanji? Whatever you want to call it) instead of using actual English words.

Sure, but if they want us to play these games, we shouldn't have to jump through these hoops for them. It's sheer fandom that forces us to these extra steps. Even if it's with a fan translation, having easier access to the actual game files themselves is important.I can play with a spreadsheet and a script beside me if I need to. I don't want to do that, though.

The whole reason Crossbell never came was because PSP/Vita were dead in the west and they decided to skip to Sen instead of trying to release on a dead platform. Kondo has specifically said they made the Kai versions for the west.

I also don't know what you mean about having access to the game files. The DLSite copy gives you access to the game files to do whatever you want with it which you need to add the Geofront patch and have the entire game have voiced dialogue in the first place. It's also a guarantee Geofront will be the better translation if NISA is handling the Kai ports
