So last topic when I beat 1 Boss Cell, I said how shields made the game super easy. Well I found something just as broken. hokuto's bow. I melted the hand of the king like he wasnt even there

Congrats on beating BSC 2. I wanna give the extra last boss a try, but there's no way I'll ever git gud enough to even reach him. Just looking up the differences in higher boss cells made me nope right out.

Thanks, so far BSC2 took me the least amount of time. The biggest hurdle was vanilla which took me like 50 hours. BSC1 took me like 25 hours. This one prob took me 5-10 over the course of the week

Also, who is the extra last boss? the giant?

Nah that one's the optional second one. There's another after The King's Hand, but only on BSC5 iirc. I beat Dead Cells the first time on my sorta 8th try. My actual first attempt at the game was at a friend's place with his account. I remember not being super impressed watching gameplay during a demo or early access(whatever the SBFP vid was), so I'm glad I eventually gave the game a try.

I might buy the Bad Seed DLC someday.

The only impressive thing I've done in this game was beat the Time guy without getting hit which is a rare achievement according to XBL.

That was awesome. I've fought her dozens of times and maybe once have I not gotten hit. I don't even remember it but I have the achievement. I don't have your reflexes tho I must have just had a god build

The blueprint for Alchemic Carbine is in a secret area in the Ancient Sewers. But it's a secret that isn't guaranteed to show up in every run. If I recall I think it's in a long pit filled with poison at the bottom. Gotta roll through the floor somewhere to access it I believe.

I haven't beaten 0 bsc LMAO, got the game about a week ago and I play on a potato laptop with keyboard and mouse and tons of frame rate drops so maybe that has something to do with it. Excuses excuses
Right now I have two golden weapons, a whip and a duplex bow and barely made it out of clock tower alive. Too scared to face the boss, first time I got this far

Congratulations TC, 2BSC sounds like a nightmare from what I've read. Probably gonna uninstall after I beat the king once

dammit man. does the hand of the king get new moves or something at 3? i was so close to beating him then he jumped in the air and slammed down, only he delayed it a little and i jumped too early and died

Is that the one where he slams the middle regardless of where you're at, and some pillars come out? He does that at 0 too I'm sure.

I literally beat 0 BSC on my first try on a new save yesterday after coming back to the game for the first time since early access. Just got a Crusher and Ice Blast with a Wolf Trap. Just did Ice Blast > Crusher alternating to blow up everything in the game without it getting to attack, except the bosses which got stuck in traps all day. Hand of the King still kicked my ass because I didn't remember how to dodge him at all, but I had like 10k HP and two flasks by the end of the run so he didn't kill me.

1 BSC is so much harder, mostly just because of the additional enemies.

I think the main thing that makes 2 BSC so much more difficult is that's when the game very abruptly stops giving you health. It's even worse on 3 BSC of course because you get no health pickups whatsoever. Shops are your only option for getting more flasks.

And then 4 BSC is considered to be another difficulty spike because it adds some new mechanics that you have to deal with in an already tough game.
