trailers have zero to do with the quality of the movie, genius. I don't know why you wouldn't have expected it to be great, considering who directed it

It was terrible. When i had moviepass and watched a bunch of movies in theters, that and a Wrinkle in Time were the movies closest to making me leave before finishing the movie.

Trailers can make good movies look good. They can make bad movies look good. They can make bad movies look bad. But making a good movie look bad?

That last one's an art.

If a trailer looks like shit, something which was specifically put together to try to sell a movie, it's usually a safe assumption that it stinks. There are occassional fuckups that ruin a movie's marketing, but those are the exceptions and not the rule.

That user recently had one of those weird "I'm the real liberal here even though I'm spouting a bunch of weirdly right wing sounding stuff" meltdowns not long ago, he even did the "I won't deign to let you losers see my responses any more, plebs" routine and then got warned and immediately came back on his alt (MarvAlbert) to keep at it. I was just wondering if they were having another one of those nights, because I don't know why else they would decide to come into this topic so hot and accusing me of being a Trump supporter...because I think that "most disappointing movie of all time" seems like an unusually strong reaction to a movie that I remember being an interesting idea executed kind of poorly that turned out alright but boring.
