Absolutely. Biden only won because of the mail in ballots. A good chunk of those mail in voters wouldnt have gone out to the polls like usual and Trump would have won handily. Basically it would have been what it was looking like late Tuesday night of the election with him ahead in most swing states.

Like I said in another topic, I believe voter fraud absolutely took place, but there are definitely incidences of it on both sides and its not to the extent of where it would sway the results. The interesting thing will be how far Trump takes it and if the courts will throw out all the mail in votes because of a few occurrences of fraud. Overall I would like to know how much fraud actually does occur and this would be a good election for that type of audit. For how much Democrats complained of Russian interference back in 2016, you think they would welcome this type of investigation as well.

If Covid hadn't happened or Trump had done a better job of managing it, I'm pretty much 100% certain he would have won. He's generated a ton of ill will with his mismanagement of the situation, and as much as he's got supporters that have kept humping his leg the whole time, that failure cost him a lot of his more lukewarm voting base. It also meant that his opponents were even more motivated to get him out of office, resulting in an aggressive push to get people voting that resulted in the largest voter turnout in the country's history (at least in terms of raw numbers), and it's unlikely that push would have happened (or been nearly as successful in swaying apathetic people and fence-sitters) if not for Covid.

Eh, I don't think that's quite accurate. There's generally a Democrat bias in mail-in and other advance votes, but the main reason it's been so pronounced this time is because of the clear left/right split in willingness to follow Covid safety protocols. Take Covid away, and a sizable chunk of those voters would just go to the polls normally. It's even more pronounced because Trump spent the last several months trying to convince the country that mail-in votes were going to be made illegal and telling his supporters not to use them, and again, that wouldn't have happened except in opposition to the push for expanding mail-in voting as a Covid precaution.
