It feels like it's been getting worse with time. No it's not particularly recent. But it is getting worse.

Also shit like I was with my friend and they were talking about old memories and I have like 0 memory of the stuff they are talking about.

It's really bad. I do coding as a job, and basic stuff like how to run a shell command is something I forget after a couple months.

There is a thing I have worked on for a long time and basically anything I haven't done in over a month is mostly forgotten.

Things I haven't done in a year are entirely forgotten, until I sit down to do them and even then it's a very very vague memory at best.

This may seem random but have you had Covid in the past? Heard brain fog is really common after recovering from it

Getting in your head won't make it any better. I've had periods like this and I always snap back after a while. But if it is getting to you that bad see a doctor

Only a couple of weeks, so its a pretty new thing for me. Its kind of stupid and probly wont do a thing for you but Ive taken to chewing gum all day to stay constantly focused on something so that my brain doesnt wander. My sister told me to start taking notes and stuff along with alarms that remind me to check said notes but that felt like too much work for me. >_>
