Could you have seen MJ as Professor Xavier in X-Men?
Vote
An expose by the Hollywood Reporter says that Michael Jackson had his sights set on portraying the bald, wheelchair bound PROFESSOR CHARLES XAVIER!! The King of Pop went so far as to schedule a meeting with controversial director, Bryan Singer and 20th Century Fox at the time which he prepared a presentation Producer Lauren Shuler recalled "I said to him, do you know Xavier is an older white guy?" during the spring encounter of 1999 Michael said "You know, i can wear makeup" At the time MJ wore sunglasses and refused to shake hands and then presented his 1997 short film GHOSTS in which he morphed into a 60 something white mayor railing against a well meaning performer who entertains children with magic tricks Fox executives confirms that this encounter DID happen but they never seriously considered him for the role and ultimately gave it to Star Trek alum, Patrick Stewart who became a hallmark role for the British actor. Although Michael had an affinity for children while developing his Neverland ranch in California and the long debated sexual misconduct claims, perhaps that may have been the reason for wanting the role of Prof X who runs Xavier's School for Gifted youngsters of mutant youth The X-Men franchise spawned 12 films and is now owned by mega giant Disney who can now incorporate characters into its Marvel Phase 4 films Could you have seen MJ as Professor Xavier? https://i.imgur.com/GCL4ZNc.jpg https://i.imgur.com/BGbvLJF.jpg https://i.imgur.com/MKj72a6.jpg https://i.imgur.com/75IRFlM.jpg https://i.imgur.com/V1EoNRo.jpg --- The News Will Continue...For Now call me mrduckbear, sweater monkeys. Nah... even if he looked the part he wouldn't sound the part
Other than that, he could have been an interesting choice given the metaphors Xmen is about. --- "Salt cures Everything!" My YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/Nirakolov/videos ... Copied to Clipboard!

"Mutants. Since the discovery of their existence they have been regarded with fear, suspicion, often hatred *hee hee!*. Across the planet, debate rages. Are mutants the next link in the evolutionary chain or simply a new species of humanity fighting for their share of the world? Shamona! Either way it is a historical fact: Sharing the world has never been humanity's defining attribute. *OOHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

Again, this whole story sounds like bullshit.
Full Throttle posted... Producer Lauren Shuler recalled "I said to him, do you know Xavier is an older white guy?" during the spring encounter of 1999 MJ was transwhite and on the older side by that point. At any rate, if only somebody had the balls to tell Michael Clarke Duncan about that when he wanted to play Kingpin >_> I imagine the casting conversation there consisted of MCD walking into production, announcing that he wanted to play Kingpin, somebody getting ready to object because there's almost no likeness, and then MCD flexing a muscle while giving them the crazy eye at which point a scared director said, "You've got the job." Full Throttle posted... Could you have seen MJ as Professor Xavier? He wouldn't have the same look, but his background means he'd bring something to the character. Smiffwilm posted... "Mutants. Gee, can you imagine Michael Jackson playing a character who was often suspected and hated?
