The FRBs are overflowing with so many presidential dollar coins that they had to discontinue the program before they even got to all the presidents because nobody wanted to use them. Still have a solid collection of silver dollars, susan b anthonys, most of the statehood quarters, etc etc. I have coins pre 1965 (or whatever it is) where they're still mostly made of silver. They gave us a set amount of coinage in our til to be used as change which usually wouldn't be an issue unless it was really busy. But the actual chuckle fucks of the company had the audacity to but a 10% surcharge (or something like that) on public holidays when sporting events often were held, WITHOUT any change to how many coins we were supplied with.
