And I don't know what's worse--acting "normal" to the waitresses as if it's nothing, or trying to awkwardly acknowledge the exploitation. So...in the end I wrote a little acknowledging thank you note on a check, plus a 70% tip. Waitress came back to say thanks for the note and we chatted about it, and #MeToo, and the irony of the situation. It was refreshingly humanizing. Scantily clad waitresses doesn't hurt but I certainly wouldn't go there for them alone. Ultimately these are adult women though making their own decisions. Idk if they changed it or something recently but the place was pretty much indistinguishable from an Applebees or something. The waitresses wore the white tank tops but they werent particularity revealing, the sexy element I always heard about was pretty much nonexistent.
