I think we'll see Gozer return, i mean the we do see Ivo Shandor's name on at least one sign in the trailer and the terror dogs show up too.

It only makes sense to see Gozer return.

The video game rehashed gozer and it was lazy. Im sick of gozer. GB2 isnt all that great but at least we got a cool original villian

Unless the sign was just to throw people off and it's a new villain but maybe we'll get two villains and Gozer is just the minor villain.

Gozer's not bad, but he/she shouldn't be the only adversary. The cartoon show had a plethora of baddies.

It just seems like a waste to have the Ghostbusters bust Gozer the Gozerian, Vigo the Carpathian, and Gozer the Gozerian yet again. Even if the villain is Gozer in everything but name, I'd rather have them battle Gozer's brother Gorza than to battle Gozer yet again.

But, hey, if they're gonna fight Gozer yet again, at least it's still Ghostbusters. The real Ghostbusters I mean.

It really needs to be an entirely new entity if this new movie has any hope of being anything other than another shameless cash grab. Not Gozer. Not Vigo.Not Ivo.

I'm hoping the bait-and-switch is the villain either embodies fear or something similar and it's an excuse for a quick callback to past ghosts and then it does its own thing.

I would love to see a sequel with teens if Afterlife does great at the box office, it worked in Extreme Ghostbusters so it should work for live action.

I never watched Extreme Ghostbusters, but I'd like to see this just to prove that the failure of Ghostbusters '16 came about because it was a reboot instead of a sequel. ("See? This is how you transition into a new team of Ghostbusters.")

Yeah that's where the reboot went wrong among many other things, Ghostbusters fans didn't hate it because it was all female, it was hated because how it was made and the direction it went.

Maybe their cameos in Ghostbusters 2016 were actually just them being trapped in hell by Paul Feig (as Satan). Until of course they're rescued by Egon.
