What if, instead of learning from other states mistakes, we just rant about New York and New Jersey forever while watching Texas and Florida go to shit?

I'm still waiting for "let's not treat numbers that are still rapidly changing as final".

You'd think conservatives would've learned from the early swine flu comparisons but I see those have already been shoved down the memory hole

It was bipartisan but there were left wing dissenters ie Barbara lee etc

but it was near unanimous on the right

Conservatives don't learn. That's why they are conservatives.

florida and texas combined dont even sniff the 32K+ deaths we saw from new york lol. also florida and texas combined have just as many deaths as californa. deaths are the most crucial metric.

texas was the gold standard but were a red state so the media will never acknowledge it despite califiorna mirroring everything texas did and having far more deaths lol.

Something that you really need to understand before you continue on with your garbage is that we expect death reports to lag behind case reports.

CA had a pretty significant initial outbreak which is why they have more deaths than FL and TX right now. Most of those deaths in CA are from April and May. As of right now both TX and FL are recording 100+ daily deaths pretty regularly, which is even LESS than what CA was experiencing in April and May.

Another thing that you should understand so that maybe you can save yourself the embarrassment and tone down your rhetoric just a bit is that when it comes to epidemics MOST of the death tend to occur in a very short period of time. That's just how exponential growth works. If this trend keeps continuing for even just a few days then the numbers will start looking like what we saw in NY.
