I'm getting jacked af, currently at 1600 calories and ~150g protein, but I had high body fat at the beginning. I have to add more calories every week, but I'm gonna stay in a cut for like 16 more weeks before I move into maintenance.

This only if you've already been strength training. If you're just starting strength training and on a calorie deficit then you will see some gainz until your body plateaus.
