no. he'll prolly be remembered as a major part of early 90's music but aside from that he was very brief footnote in music pop culture. grunge music isn't even a thing anymore.

I'm guessing that's supposed to be 'wasn't' but he really was a decent lyricist. Even before his death, he was basically the voice of a whole generation with just Nevermind.

I'm not a Nirvana fan at all but come on.

Um...not taking anything away from xxxtentacion but he wasn't a name everyone knew until he died. When Kurt died people were scared about copycat suicides being a thing. It's also different eras. TV and Radio were the thing that culturally connected everyone. Now a days, people are disconnecting from those and have a lot of different cultural icons thanks to the internet.

For a month maybe. You can't really think people remember a florida rapper like they would someone like Kurt. They really aren't on the same influence parallel.
