Like is it OK to wipe a few times then fold the TP to wipe with the clean side or is that weird?

Is it weird to look at it after you wiped to see how clean it is?

I feel like if I'm ever in a public restroom I just hear people wiping a few times and that's it. Like are they actually cleaning themselves or are they just like "eff it"?

I mean it's not like I'm eavesdropping outside their stall or anything but when you're washing your hands you can't help but hear how they rip the toilet paper like twice and then leave.

Those also tend to be the people who don't wash their hands afterwards though.

That's what I'm trying to figure out, because I wipe a few times and fold it to wipe and I look to see how messy it is and I don't know if that's weird or not.

Half the world just uses their hands or a water bottle so wiping alone is already better etiquette

Say you take 3-4 squares of toilet paper. You fold it over so it is like two squares and wipe, then fold it over so it is like one square and wipe. Saves toilet paper imo. Of course I don't do that if it's like really messy but for subsequent wipes it makes sense.
