I was an accidental child who was semi-neglected, raised by the TV/video games, and never really encouraged to do anything. It's like I didn't even exist. I was bullied heavily by my siblings which my parents ignored.

What went wrong was I was put into the Gifted/Talented program which had combined 3rd/4th and 5th/6th classes and the same people every year so my social life and ability to meet new people got all fucked up

I think they did a brilliant job. I think they were a little too harsh on me when I got in trouble as a kid, but other than that they were great. I'm a functioning adult with a good job and I'm married, they did their job.
