The US Supreme Court is set to decide whether President Donald Trump's tax returns and other financial records can be examined by Congress and prosecutors - a ruling with potentially huge political consequences.

Mr Trump refuses to share documents concerning his fortune and business.

His lawyers argue he enjoys total immunity while in office.

Basically we're about to see if Republican presidents are truly above the law or not. The cynic in me says they'll rule in his favor while claiming they didn't or they'll wuss out and kick it back to the lower courts on some bullshit.

I don't even care at this point. If he's been suing left and right to keep them sealed all this time, then you already know that what the critics are alleging is true. Otherwise, he wouldn't have anything to hide.

The President is NOT supposed to have total immunity. That's what Congress and SCOTUS is for. To push judgement on his ass.
