Basically, you do one push-up, walk 30 feet, do two more, walk back to the original spot, do three, walk another 30 feet, do 4, back to the original spot, do 5, etc. Then when you hit a peak number, you work your back down to 1. I went up to 20, so the total is 400. And yeah push-ups alone don't make you swoll. I've been going to the gym seriously for a couple months now. But that many push-ups within that time frame (about 30 minutes) will definitely pump you up and make you look even swoller. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I have a crazy high metabolism and appetite, though, so it's hard for me to really put on muscle. I have a lot of patience though and I know it's a process. You roughly have what would be my ideal physique, because I'm a bottom heavy beanpole and putting mass on my torso is a nightmare. I'm guessing you were pretty big in the first place if that's a culmination of a few months of hard training.

I had some muscle, but you couldn't really tell if I was wearing normal clothes. Keep your feet together and lower your chest to the floor but keep your entire body straight, almost as if there was a steel beam impaling you from your head to your toes. Don't do as many as you can at once, because you'll burn out. Instead follow some kind of a system. It could be as simple as "ten sets of ten push-ups," or a bit more creative. Example: if you have a deck of cards, shuffle them and spread them around a table or the floor all face down. Pick one at random, and do that number of push-ups. Jacks are 11, Queens are 12, Kings are 13 and Aces are 15. The amount of time you give yourself in-between cards is up to you, but if you get through the whole thing you'll be feeling it! ...
