I thought I was never going to get it, so I watched Dunkey's video on it as well as some others(it's been a while so I can't remember whose video I watched on the game. Never saw a complete playthrough or anything though).

I tired of the memes and the popularity well before I played it myself, and I still think it's a solid game. It's one of those things that's better when you ignore the hype or fandom around it.
