I'd say 3. There's a meme aimed at Republicans that goes something like;

idk if an 8 is too high, but there's definitely something funky going on here. Like the sheer depths some posters will go to to derail threads and make false equivalencies to avoid actually talking about racism is suss at best, but then you have people who shitpost about swastikas by claiming discrimination against Hindus for not allowing people to post the Manji symbol. And you know from all the other shit they post they don't give a fuck about the Manji, or India as a country in some cases. They just think it's funny to start discourse about swastikas and the Manji symbol.
Or you have folks who see a symbol that's closely tied to white supremacy or neo-nazism, and they go "oh well eagles and circles aren't racist on their own, you can't prove they're appealing to neo-nazis".
