Then r/idontworkherelady expanded it to refer to a typical obnoxious lady with an inflated sense of entitlement who cannot or will not accept that the person they are asking for help with doesn't work there and start demanding for the manager when the person wouldn't help them (after saying "I don't work here"). Now it looks like it evolved to suburban white lady who calls the cops if they feel like they lost an argument in real life. --- "Average Joe" is a trolling term since it's completely an opinion. Because when that woman calls the cops on those people at Starbucks there wasn't anyone using the term Karen to describe it.
