like PS5's revealed one? Or could I just use my standard headset? Are these headsets with many speakers inside?

Do you think many games will support it on PS5? Not many did on PS4.

You can get a surround sound set up if you don't like using headsets. There's 3D sound capable headsets available now that'll set you back a couple hundred for a decent pair. A good surround sound system could run you about 700-1000 give or take.

It won't be authentic surround but I have some older Turtle Beach's that give the effect when I'm away from my usual setup. They were less than $100. Don't think they have multiple speakers, it's a processing effect.

With that said, from the little I recall with the PS5 specs reveal weren't they trying something with the audio output? If it's built into the hardware you may not need specialty 'phones.
