Pretty close to this. Only difference I find is I don't believe in calling out "every" police organization. There was a protest in my town and that was kind of insulting, I live in a multicultural town and the police are actually very kind, rarely giving out tickets, fast to respond if anyone has a problem, and have open discussions with citizens often where people can raise their concerns. My town in actually labeled one of the safest in the state I live in (NJ).

What do we mean by civic disruptions though?

I did read about near-immunity clauses that have allowed police to get away with abuse. That's concernining and most likely played a part in Thomas Lane's previous offenses. I wouldn't mind if they reworked that bit. I can see why some stuff is needed, but its not good if there's abuse.

Actually, if you look at the majority of the cities where all the civil disturbances are happening, where endless groups of entitled whiners keep accusing everyone of racism and bigotry, and where people are rioting and destroying shit, you'll notice a common denominator about who's managing those perpetually offended cities/states and who lives there.

Changes need to happen to the justice system, the reality is that no matter the reality that most cops are inherently good (my belief), that unions and the people in the system are more interested in defending each other from justice than actually being lawful and good.

But let's not delude ourselves about the other facets of the reality of the situation.
