Because the plan again... for the second time... was predicated on Plum not knowing my role actually existed.

It would be like you saying... PLUM SAID HE WAS SCUM AND TO PREDICT AND LYNCH HIM... (which means to predict him so if you are WRONG Chang has a roleblock (which means Plum isn't sure Ben is scum). Then being mad if someone confirmed Ben scum.

Nobody in this game would have lynched Ben that day if they were my role and they redirected him and a NK happened elsewhere. If you are saying otherwise, you are 20/20 hindsighting. The questioning was... whether I was lying about my role or not. Which I wasn't.

And, yes, whoever said it is correct. If the redirector died 1 second into the game, town probably would have won. It took exactly the right circumstance for scum and the redirector on the same night to win the game. Otherwise, town would have won.

B8 meta has generally been that infinite stalemates are more stressful on town while they last because motivation eventually just fades for actually solving anything, and besides the host will eventually just tell everyone they have one day left or it's a tie because they don't want to commit their entire life to running out a dead mafia game

Most games have rules that say repeated moves up to 3 times is a draw.

For example, in pool league if I can't make my shot without freeing the 8 for him or knocking it in. I choose to give up my turn. He can't hit his 8 without scratching or opening me up. He hands it back. If I hand it back again, it's a draw.

Chess has a similar rule. I assume mafia would be no kill - no lynch - no kill would be a stalemate also.

Corrik, I want you to know that I would be mostly on your side.

BUT when Sultan claimed to have been redirected by you, that should've been a hint that he took an action. If you didn't expect last Scum to be redirectable, you should've been looking at Abacus. And when you realized Abacus was confirmed through a Doc Save as well, then you should've reevaluated the situation as a whole instead of giving up.

Plenty of observers have said what things that we have been thinking. There were some plays that were done poorly, Ben's role was a niche ridiculous role that punished Town for being good and didn't require anything more from him than hiding while his team was destroyed.

But hey, whatever, just a game. I had fun while I was alive, especially the part where I dunked so hard on Scare and Red, in addition to the early calls on Sceptile and Damion, that we as a community are officially renaming "heat-check" to "Han-check".
