Funimation gets about as much anime as Crunchyroll does in English and Japanese. Crunchyroll has the overall bigger library but it's 90% sub only.

I'd watch a dub voiced by an entire cast of blue hairs. Find the worst anime of the season and use all 80+ women as voices

VRV combines the libraries of Crunchyroll and HiDive together (plus other miscellaneous non-anime content) into one service for a price cheaper than the two separately, so it's the best one for sheer variety of anime series for the best price. Funimation is generally considered the best specifically in regards to English dubbed anime. They have the most dubbed series and their simuldubs (when the coronavirus isn't throwing a wrench into things) are generally the fastest every season, only 2-3 episodes behind the subbed broadcasts for the same shows. If you can afford two sites, then VRV + Funimation gives you absolutely massive coverage because there's very little overlap between the shows on Funimation and the shows on Crunchyroll or HiDive, and what little overlap they have usually boils down to Funimation having the dub of a show while Crunchyroll has the sub.

I doubt they would do this for a non-comedy show. Sometimes this is the best way to make it work for an English speaking audience. A straight translation of the original dialogue would probably be dry and dull as hell.

Viz dubs sometimes pop up on Toonami as well (like the JoJo dubs) before they end up on Hulu or Netflix for streaming later on.

Speaking of Netflix, they do get the occasional exclusive series (like Little Witch Adaemia) that's worth watching. But those are rare.

That too! If you have cable, you might be able to watch them through your provider's on demand service. My main gripe with that is that Toonami trims episodes for time (almost exclusively just shortening OPs, EDs, and next episode previews).
