"Let's just watch a movie for right now," you say.

"What?" she says in surprise. "I'm here with all this skin and you'd rather look at the television?"

"It's rather odd how lately, you and I are in these kinds of moods at different times. Except for our sauna date."

"What kind of movie are you thinking of watching anyway?"

"I don't know, let's see what's on."

You check the guide and start scrolling. You do find a good amount of choices, most in progress while only a few are just starting now for prime time.

"We watched the original Star Wars movies," you say. "Heh, like we need to watch Harry Potter."

"Yeah," she chuckles.

"Hmm... Hunger Games is in progress and has the sequels... But there's also the original Rocky just starting."

Question about the Romance Resurrected series. Im reading the earlier topics on the archive site and finished off on RR 3 but RR 4 picks up somewhere else. Is there a topic im missing?

"Hmm... Let's keep looking."

You scroll along and find a few more channels playing movies. Though not necessarily ones you'd want to watch.

"Pff, Sharknado," you laugh. "I get there's the concept of 'so awful, it's good,' but... No."

"Yeah, definitely not," Raven chuckles. "Oh, but the Halloween sequel isn't so bad. We should watch that."

"Or we could watch James Bond," you say as you spot the Daniel Craig Casino Royale. "We haven't seen Bond in a long time."

"Yeah, but I haven't seen Halloween 2 in a long time," Raven counters.

Raven scoots closer and pouts slightly as she leans into you. Between looking into her alluring violet eyes or down at her enticing body, you're up against strong powers of persuasion.

Nah the file the doc was in when I downloaded didn't work with my comp which is why I was looking through the archives. Its cool though. Just want to know what happens with Jinx leaving the tower and the party games.

"No, no," you say as you go to Casino Royale. "You cannot use your feminine wiles to get your way."

Raven scoffs as the channel changes.

"When do I use my wiles?" she smirks. "Or rather, when do I need to use them when you're so up for it most of the time."

"Well I won't disagree that you're incredibly tempting by default," you say. "But it's not like you've never used them."

"Oh, okay," she chuckles.

In the movie, James Bond has found his second target, the traitor to MI6, Dryden. Bond informs Dryden that he already killed Dryden's contact, Fisher. Dryden asks if Bond feels any guilt or remorse, but Bond doesn't respond.

"You needn't worry," Dryden tells him. "The second is e-"

BANG! Bond shoots Dryden.

"Yes, considerably," Bond says, agreeing to the implied "easier."

In a quick flashback, Fisher recovers from Bond's attempt to drown him and picks up his pistol. The frame instantly shifts to the series' iconic "gun barrel" sequence as Bond spins around and shoots Fisher first. Blood runs down the frame, also iconic, and the opening credits and theme song plays.

"Maybe it's just me," Raven says, "but the way the original movies were made in the 60's and 70's, and all the Bond girls and flirting, it really makes you forget Bond is a dangerous assassin."

"Part of the appeal of the Daniel Craig set of movies was the creation of a grittier Bond after how suave and smooth Pierce Brosnan was," you say.

The opening credits end and things have moved to Mbale, Uganda. A group of freedom fighters, led by Steven Obanno, are arranging a meeting with "Le Chiffre," a private banker to terrorist groups around the world. Obanno is not sure whether or not to trust Le Chiffre with his money, but the mysterious "Mr. White," the man brokering the meeting, explains that he's only the guy making the introduction.

Moments later, a convoy of Land Rovers arrive, one of which carries Le Chiffre. Le Chiffre explains to Obanno that he invests their money and manipulates stocks so they get a 100% return on the investment, and guarantees them access to their money anywhere in the world. Obanno agrees to allow the money to be taken for Le Chiffre's nefarious purposes. While Obanno's money is being loaded in to Le Chiffre's vehicles, Le Chiffre calls his stockbroker in London and has him short-sell a massive number of Skyfleet stocks, despite the broker warning him that he's betting against the market and all forecasts only call for Skyfleet's stocks to increase in value.

In Madagascar, Bond's first mission as an official 00 agent is underway. Bond and another agent, Carter, are surveilling a terrorist, Mollaka, who is gambling on a match between a cobra and a mongoose. Carter is a more inexperienced agent, so he gets made rather easily after Mollaka gets a cellphone call. The terrorists all run away, and Bond chases Mollaka. Mollaka is incredibly skilled at parkour and uses it to get around the nearby construction site. Bond, on the other hand, just busts through a wood wall in his way!

"Wow!" Raven says with a chuckle. "Definitely a very tough Bond."

"Yes, definitely," you say.

You're still a little hungry and thirsty but you want to save the tacos for tomorrow.

You wait for a commercial, this is a good part.

The chase continues to the sky cranes and the Nambutu embassy where Mollaka seeks asylum. Bond charges into the embassy, completely flying in the face of both his mission and international law. Bond catches Mollaka in the ambassador's office, drags him out of the embassy, fighting all the way. Bond eventually throws Mollaka out a window into the courtyard. Bond suddenly finds himself surrounded by armed guards. The ambassador appears and orders Bond to let Mollaka go. Instead, Bond shoots the terrorist and a nearby gas tank! He escapes in the explosion, grabbing Mollaka's backpack at the same time.

Bond searches through the backpack, finds a bomb and a phone. Bond examines the bomber's messages briefly, seeing one with an American phone number and the word "ELLIPSIS." Naturally, Bond keeps the phone as evidence.

When he returns to MI6 headquarters, Bond gets chewed out by M for Bond's actions being caught on tape. Bond shrugs all that off to later break into M's home and hack her top-level clearance so he can trace where the cell phone call originated from. When M enters, she's startled and lectures him on proper protocol and conduct. She thinks it may have been a mistake to promote him to 00 status.

Bond assures her that "the life expectancy of a 00 is brief, so your mistake will be short-lived." M tells him that "arrogance and self-awareness seldom go hand-in-hand," and that he should take his ego out of the equation. She also advises him to take a vacation while she thinks on how to deal with him. But Bond finds that the call to Mollaka originated on a posh Bahama beach resort. Bond decides to go there to investigate who and why.

Bond arrives and tracks down Alex Dmitrios, middleman for Le Chiffre hired to find other proxies. Bond and Dmitrios play a game of poker, and not only does Bond win, he wins Dmitrios' 1964 Aston Martin DB5.

"What a great car," you say. "Okay, commercial break! I'm going to get something more to drink and maybe some dessert. What would you like?"

"Ummm, not sure," Raven says as you get up. "Oh, there's a Wendy's nearby, right? How about some milkshakes?"

"Yes!" you say. "Milkshakes sound amazing right about now. Chocolate?"

"Oh, yes, that sounds nice," she says.

You hurry out of La Quinta and go across the way to the Wendy's on the corner. You go in and there's no lines so you go right to the counter.

"Yes, I'd like two large chocolate Frosties," you say. "And... a large order of fries."

The cashier types that in and comes up with the receipt.

"That'll be $6.72," they say.

You give $7.02 to get just a quarter and nickel back, then wait on the side. It doesn't take long for the two shakes and the fries. You thank them and head back to the hotel.

When you return, Bond has already gotten the information about Dmitrios' next move and has followed him to Miami.

"That was fast," Raven says as you hand her a cup.

"Well they weren't busy," you say.

Bond sees Dmitrios leave a bag with the coat check staff and place the claim tag in one of the displays. Bond gets found by Dmitrios and is held at knifepoint, forcing Bond to kill Dmitrios in self-defense. However, the bag goes missing and Bond follows Carlos, the man hired as Mollaka's last minute replacement.

Bond follows Carlos to Miami International Airport, where he pulls a security uniform out of the bag and puts it on. He slips into the secured area of the airport and Bond follows him, having figured out "ELLIPSIS" was the security code to get through the door. M calls Bond to tell him Le Chiffre will have Carlos destroy a prototype jetliner for a large airline named Skyfleet. The prototype is the largest passenger aircraft in the world and destroying it will bankrupt Skyfleet.

Carlos sets off the emergency sprinkler system in the building to cause a diversion and slips out onto the tarmac. Carlos attaches an explosive charge to a refueling tanker after killing the driver and starts driving it towards the plane. However, Bond manages to leap onto the tanker and the two have a vicious fight around the runways while being chased by the Miami-Dade Police.

Eventually, Carlos leaps off the truck, and Bond is barely able to stop the tanker from hitting the plane. Carlos smiles as Bond is arrested and activates the charge. However, Bond has already discovered Carlos' small explosive device & attached it to Carlos' belt during the melee, and Carlos ends up killing himself. Bond smirks slightly after the explosion.

"That was pretty badass," Raven says as she unwraps the straw.

"Mhm," you say while munching a fry.

"No ketchup for the fries?" Raven asks, looking in the bag.

They didn't put any in?" you say. "That's a shame."

the Amarillo La Quinta and that Wendy's are on the same block, so it's only the parking lot you have to cross. also he didn't come back right as the commercials were over, there's a small part he missed before all the action.

"I can run back and get some ketchup packets," you say. "Be right back."

You go back out and across the way to Wendy's. You go back inside and walk up to the counter.

"Hi, I was in here earlier," you say. "Could I get ketchup for my fries? We didn't get any."

"Do you have a proof of purchase?" they ask.

"Weren't you the cashier who just helped with my order?" you ask in return. "I ordered the two Frosties and the fries."

"Hmm... Are you sure?"

"Who else has all this white hair?" you say as you use a hand to shake the long hair in the back.

"I don't know, but we still need a proof of purchase, sir."

You bring out the receipt and show them.

"Yes, two large chocolate Frosties and a large order of fries," the cashier says. "Sorry that we forgot the ketchup."

They put a big handful of ketchup packets into a little bag and hand that over. You thank them and hurry back to the hotel.

You return and by now, M tells Bond that Le Chiffre just set up a high stakes Texas Hold 'Em poker match at the Casino Royale in Montenegro for 10 players, with an entry fee at $10 million each, plus a $5 million buy-back should they lose all their money. M arranges to place Bond in the game as a replacement for a syndicate member, since he's the best poker player in MI6. M also has a homing device planted in Bond's left wrist so she can track him anywhere.

You sit on the bed and use the Wendy's bags to squirt the ketchup on for the sake of dipping. The fries have cooled slightly, but it'll have to do.

The British government puts up the money, and while Bond is on the train to Montenegro, he is met by a young woman named Vesper Lynd, a Treasury agent who has been sent to monitor Bond and give a go/no-go should he lose the money. They converse over dinner, Vesper commenting on his cold nature and Bond remarking on how Vesper is retentive.

Upon arriving, they pose as a married couple, with Bond posing as a professional gambler named "Arlington Beech" and Vesper as "Stephanie Broadchest." She obviously doesn't like that, but it's also a very clever reference to the names full of obvious innuendo the Bond franchise is known for.

"Would that be my Bond girl name?" Raven asks with a chuckle. "Broadchest?"

"That's good, but you have a lot of great physical qualities," you say. "How about this for your Bond name?"

"Hmm... Not bad. That probably is the most accurate about me."

Raven reclines back to admire herself while also enticing you. You chuckle while eating more fries.

In the movie, Bond and Vesper meet with Rene Mathis, their contact in Montenegro, who explains that Le Chiffre probably doesn't know he's under surveillance because the only person monitoring him is Mathis himself. He's spent the time establishing his old relationships with such people as the local police chief, whom Mathis has already arranged to have busted on bribery charges.

Before the game begins, Bond also purchases a deep purple backless dress for Vesper to wear, to supply a distraction during the game.

"Ooo~, I think you'd look nice in something like that," you say to Raven.

"Yeah?" she smirks. "The color does look nice."

Bond is then perturbed that Vesper has given him a tuxedo dinner jacket that appears to have been tailored and is of a higher quality than Bond's own.

"And you'd look nice in one of those," Raven says.

That evening, he heads to the casino and the private parlor, where he is introduced to the other players, including Le Chiffre. A representative from the casino and another representative from an international bank explain that each player has deposited $10 million dollars for their initial buy-in. The buy-back fee of $5 million can be made by electronic transfer. Their money is being held in a Swiss bank in escrow for the duration of the game and each one has a password to keep the money secured. At the conclusion of the tournament, the winner will enter his password into and encryption keypad, which will automatically wire the money to any bank account in the world of the winner's choice. Vesper has the account number but only Bond knows the password.

On the first hand, Bond deliberately makes a misjudged call to figure out how Le Chiffre bluffs. His tell involves him placing his left hand on his forehead near his wounded left eye. However Vesper is not at all impressed, thinking Bond is inept. After a lengthy round of hands, a break is called. Bond places a tracking device in Le Chiffre's asthma inhaler and takes Vesper back to their room.

Le Chiffre is called back to his room by his girlfriend, Valenka. However, he is confronted by Obanno and his henchman, demanding their money back. They threaten to cut off Valenka's arm, but Le Chiffre doesn't acquiesce. Out in the hallway, Bond hears Valenka screaming. Bond quickly grabs Vesper and they kiss in the stairway entrance to cover themselves. However, Obanno's henchman notices Bond's earpiece and attacks them both. The fight takes them into the stairwell, where the henchman is thrown off the stairwell to his death.

Bond and Obanno fight now, Obanno wielding a machete. They end up tumbling down the stairs as they go. Finally landing on the bottom, Bond gets Obanno into a choke hold. Obanno tries to reach for Bond's pistol, but Vesper smashes it out of his hands. Bond finally kills Obanno and orders Vesper to contact Mathis. Mathis sets up one of Le Chiffre's associates to take the fall for the dead bodies by placing them in the man's car trunk. Bond finishes the poker session, but returns to the room to find Vesper shaking uncontrollably in the shower yet fully-clothed. Clearly she is still reeling from being in her first life or death fight. Bond holds on to her and comforts her, and this is where the movie goes to commercial again.

"Aww..." Raven says as she sits up.

Raven leans on your shoulder and you give her a soft kiss on the head.

"While we have a commercial break," you say, "we should plan our morning. We'll need to get up early enough so we can go find the bike towing rack without rushing."

"And how early is that?" she asks.

"Well we shouldn't need that much time," you say. "We find a place that sells the hardware we need, buy whatever is best, and then head to the car dealership."

"Alright," she says. "But still, how early is that? We're supposed to pick the car up at 10, right?"

"Yes, so I think getting up at 8 should be fine."

"That should be enough time for both of us to shower, dress and pack," Raven says. "What about breakfast, though?"

"We'll worry about that after we get out of town," you say. "It'll still be early enough, we can find breakfast on the road with a drive thru or a diner."

The movie returns, and the poker tournament continues. Bond loses all his money to Le Chiffre after misreading a bluff, and admits to Vesper that he made a mistake. Vesper won't give him the buy back money, saying he's just going to lose it. Furious, Bond goes after Le Chiffre but is stopped by one of the other poker players, Felix Leiter. Leiter is the CIA's representative sent to the poker match to catch Le Chiffre for the same reasons MI6 has sent Bond. Leiter tells Bond that he's doing poorly himself in the game, and that he'll back Bond to re-enter because Leiter believes that Bond can beat Le Chiffre. In return, Bond will give Le Chiffre to the CIA once he's caught.

Bond slowly builds his bank back up and once again becomes a threat to Le Chiffre. Le Chiffre has Valenka poison Bond's martini with digitalis, causing Bond to suffer severe tachycardia. Bond goes to his car distressed and, communicating with medical specialists at MI6 headquarters, is about to use the defibrillator when he sees it's been disconnected! Bond passes out, Vesper arrives, fixes the defibrillator kit and shocks him back to life. Shaken but able to walk, Bond returns to the game.

The final hand of the game is down to four players, including Bond and Le Chiffre, who go all in, driving the pot well over $120 million. One player has a flush, while another has a full house. Le Chiffre has a higher full house and is about to take the entire pot when Bond reveals he has a straight flush and wins the game!

"Wow, nice," Raven says.

Bond has dinner with Vesper, who receives a call from Mathis stating that Le Chiffre has been apprehended by the CIA. Vesper leaves the dining room, and seconds later, Bond realizes she's in danger. Vesper is kidnapped by Le Chiffre! Bond races after them in his Aston Martin, but has to swerve violently when he sees Vesper lying bound in the road! The car rolls several times, destroying it. Le Chiffre and his cronies take him, removing his homing implant. As Bond fades from consciousness, Le Chiffre tells him that Mathis was a mole.

"No way...!" Raven says.

Bond and Vesper are taken to a nearby tramp steamer and separated. Bond is stripped and bound to a chair with the seat removed, leaving his bullocks exposed.

"Whoa..." Raven says. "What is-"

Le Chiffre swings a large knotted rope underhand and strike Bond's balls with it!

"OH!"

Le Chiffre demands to know the password for the account the winnings have been secured in. Bond refuses, despite Le Chiffre's threats to kill him and Vesper. Le Chiffre swings the rope and strikes Bond over and over! You are wincing, and even Raven keeps saying "Ow!" with each hit.

Through the pain inflicted on him, Bond tells Le Chiffre that his investors, who are already hunting him, will find him and kill him. Le Chiffre counters, saying that even if he murders Bond and Vesper, that MI6 will still welcome him because of the knowledge he possesses about his terrorist clients. Le Chiffre finally draws a knife and is about to castrate Bond when gunshots are heard outside. Le Chiffre assume it is the sound of Valenka being killed, but the door opens and in walks Mr. White!

White points a silenced pistol directly at Le Chiffre. Le Chiffre, suddenly frightened, pleads with him, saying he'll secure the money, to which White replies, "Money isn't as important to our organization as knowing who to trust." White then fatally shoots Le Chiffre in the forehead.

Another commercial break, and you and Raven brush your teeth and dress for bed so you can go right to sleep with the end of the movie.

You bring Raven in close, arm wrapped around her waist.

"What's this now?" she smirks. "Are you no longer resisting my 'wiles'?"

"It is not your wiles but my desires," you say before you kiss her on her ear.

"I like your desires," she smirks.

"We should try and behave ourselves, though," you say. "Early morning, remember?"

"Then why is your hand right below my hip?" she continues to smirk.

"It's just where my hand rests most comfortably in this position," you say.

You then feel her hand on your leg. You look down at it, and she looks up at you.

"It's just where my hand rests most comfortably in this position," she repeats.

You chuckle, give her a few kisses on the cheek, then sit back again.

The movie returns as Bond wakes up in a hospital bed. He's in a haze, still recovering from everything he went through, and goes back to unconsciousness. After he fully regains consciousness, he talks to Mathis, whom he believes was responsible for his and Vesper's capture by Le Chiffre. MI6 agents appear, taze Mathis and drag him away.

Vesper visits Bond and they confess their love for each other.

"Aww," Raven says under her breath.

The Swiss banker in charge of the winnings account visits and Bond gives Vesper the password to key in: Vesper. Bond resigns from the service to go on holiday with Vesper, and they sail to Venice, Italy where Vesper says she'll get the money and Bond will get the supplies for the trip. When M phones 007 about his resignation, she says that they'll discuss that later. They need to talk about the money being returned to the British government first, which tips off 007 that Vesper was using him all along!

"No...!" Raven also says under her breath.

Bond follows Vesper to a secret meeting where she turns the money, in cash, over to a man named Gettler. Gettler spots Bond nearby, he and a few of his men retreat to a building being renovated, and a gunfight ensues. Bond shoots and ruptures the flotation bags that hold the building above water-level and kills the henchmen. Bond tries to save Vesper, who is trapped in an old elevator, but is unable to after she drowns herself!

"NO!" Raven blurts.

Bond recovers her body and takes her above water but is unable to revive her. Mr. White, who'd been watching the scene the entire time, is seen leaving with the suitcase full of money.

"No..." Raven pouts. "This is so sad!"

Sitting on the sailboat he and Vesper had been vacationing on, Bond talks to M, who informs him that Vesper had a boyfriend who was being held by Le Chiffre's organization. She had intended to pay off Le Chiffre's associates with the money to secure her boyfriend's release. M believes that there are no further leads, that the "trail has gone cold." Bond examines Vesper's cell phone and finds the phone number of Mr. White, which he theorizes she left for him purposely.

At Lake Como in Northern Italy, White arrives at a lush villa. After he exits his car, he receives a phone call from someone telling him they "need to talk." Asking who the caller is, White is suddenly shot in the leg by a sniper. He falls to the ground and crawls painfully toward the house. As he tries to climb the stairs, and the familiar Bond theme music begins to play, Bond appears carrying a cell phone and a silenced HK rifle. As White looks up defiantly, Bond says "The name's Bond. James Bond." The closing titles roll immediately.

"That's still really sad," Raven says.

"I know," you say. "The Daniel Craig Bonds definitely bring a darker tone compared to the happier Bonds of the past. But that's why the sequel is 'Quantum of Solace.'"

"Oh, that's a really good name," she says.

"Alright, let's turn in," you say.

You then scoop Raven over to the other side, her giggling all the way. You kiss her on the forehead a few times before turning off the lights.

"Good night, Raven Goodcurves," you say as you settle back in beside her.

"Good night, Null," she says back. "Rorek Null."

You laugh a little in return as you bring her in a little closer. You drift off to sleep this way, on your side with her in your arms and her arms wrapped around your waist.

The next morning, you wake up on your back and her on top of you. You look around to spot the clock on the end table. It's 7:51 AM, so almost time to get up as planned.

It's only a few more minutes, so you'll wait. You also like watching her rest there, with her violet hair somewhat in her face and chest pressing against you.

As the two of you breathe calmly, Raven's legs hook one of yours. She moves ever so slightly, and a thigh is right up against your morning wood. You gulp as you try to move just a little bit. You have to be careful or you'll have to get up for a different reason.

Raven rests mostly on your left side, and her left leg stays firmly in between your legs. She stirs a bit, and ends up climbing up from where she was. She is almost eye to eye with you, bringing her bosom up closer. Her leg moving up only makes things harder, and you use your right leg to tilt things away. She gently rolls to her side, the pressure down below is gone, and you rest back again.

You sigh in relief, though admittedly things did feel nice. You look over at the clock and see it's only 7:53, and sigh for a different reason.

A few minutes later, Raven opens her eyes and stretches. She looks at you and smiles.

"Good morning," she says.

"Good morning," you say and smile back. "It's a little before 8."

"Oh. Well that's okay."

Raven sits up and moves her hair out of her face.

"You going to shower?" she asks as she scoots to the foot of the bed.

"Yes, obviously," you say.
