Sure, but why would that make you ignore a murder or a series of murder or an unaccountable police institution? That's the path people take and it doesn't make sense. They seem to care much more about property than people's lives.

Both things are wrong. The cop who killed Floyd deserves to spend a very long time in prison. The protestors who are setting fire to and looting businesses deserve to spend some time in prison.

It depends on the game and it depends on the clubs, but the people who do that are called hooligans. They fight mostly other hooligans and/or the police. They use alcohol and drugs.
The hooligans are a small part of a club and not every club has hooligans. They are however a big problem in the football scene. Lots of stabbings and fireworks and occasionally they destroy public property ( Dutch Feyenoord fans even vandalized a fountain in Rome build in 1627). Once they get caught however they get punished hard. Lots of fines, jailtime and a lifetime club ban so they cant visit a game anymore. The club sometimes also gets fined for the misbehavior of the hooligans inside a stadium.

This bullshit is how people get killed by the police as well, and yes it is fucking stupid to burn/destroy the city you live in.

If they really wanted to strike back they would attack the police who killed this man and the supporters of those horrible police not the city and random police who have nothing to do with it.

Peacefully protest for Police Reform. Dont commit a crime. Violence and burglary is not the answer.

I recall George Floyd peacefully protested against the officer who had placed a knee on his neck. They didn't listen. Bystanders commented on it. The police still didn't listen.

Seriously, whoever defends the riots should seek help. They are absolutely hurting the cause. Nobody thinks that George wasn't unfairly murdered. Absolutely nobody is with the cops.

What the rioters achieved is getting the people against them. The rioters are pathetic and they are tarnishing an innocent man's name.

No, I dont think any of those happened. A lot of those people want their lives to go back to normal (i.e. pre-Covid 19), which means going back to work and basically not being told by the government to stay home. Its not going to work and be normal again, if theyre burning down their own cities.
