It's too soon to say one way or another, but this is the sort of thing that I wanted to keep an eye on. If their numbers aren't significantly worse than the places that remain on lockdown then what was the point?

If their numbers aren't significantly worse than the places that remain on lockdown then what was the point? Do you ever make a post that makes sense? We are past the fucking peak and had a lock down. This virus was always going to go down, seeing it do so now isn't proof of anything. New York is opening up too, that doesn't change that they last tons and tons of people every single day, things were always going to come down but you didn't want that peak to be super high up. Even if we did nothing, the cases would eventually fall, what the lockdown achieved was to not have a massive peak where hospitals would be over run to the point that we would need to pick and choose who to let live and who to let die. That's the point. Yes hospitals were still over run, but not as much as they would have been without measures taken. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Also this is far too soon to say and anyone who buys into it just has an agenda to push. I'm not saying things will go up, maybe we really are past the peak and doing nothing won't change our outlook, but this takes weeks to become a thing. We are still only testing people with symptoms, it takes a while for those to show up.

If the virus is infectious enough to the point where ONE person can infect 119 at a nightclub then it literally doesn't really matter what we do. Relaxing the lockdown is going to be opening the flood gates no matter what, it's just a matter of seeing what happens next. Edit: We're not getting down to zero cases no matter what, not even with martial law, welding people into their homes and spraying the streets and buildings with disinfectant like China did (who surprise, surprise.. is seeing another outbreak). --- "We know things can move faster than the speed of light because liberal tears are on the ground before something offensive even happens" - Coffeebeanz ... According to this, Georgia's numbers could be two week behind. I'm not sure if the state is relaying daily totals, but on their health department website they mention a 2 week discrepancy, so we may not have the evidence to even say this. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

How to keep numbers down: don't actually report cases unless you confirm with tests, make tests scarce and expensive, even if someone is positive report it as negative to officials.
