Ive never disagreed with something so hard. Admittedly Im not big into PvP for most games but I still played Dark Souls an embarrassing amount of times.

I invaded as a purple and turned into a crate, started spinning

Host did the same
His sunbro did the same
Red invaded.... did the same
I think a Blue Sentinal or the swamp covenant..... did the same

I dont know who did the first attack but then it just turned into a free for all

I love invading the Belfrys. Even in 2020 it has a ton of activity.

Invasions can occasionally be a fun diversion the 20% of the time youre not just getting assassinated by a more powerful player that you stand no chance against. Usually they just waste your time.

As something to sink real time into, Dark Souls PvP is awful. In DS1 PvP was just circling your opponent, waiting for them to attack first so you can try to get a backstab. Its hardly gotten better than that in the sequels.

It rules dude. Im going max tryhard tho, Longsword with Rapier offhand. Pretty sure R1 R1 L1 is a true combo and absolutely chunks people down. Last night I had an invasion of a host, sunbro, red, and myself. It was a shitshow

ds2's belfries? they were awesome. i miss them.

my path through that game ended up being start -> agape ring -> finish build -> get to 1m sm in the belfries. getting a second manslayer at 30k sm was the biggest pain in the ass.
