Hmm guess I'll try again!

Now this I like! Sara's voice is so good throughout this performance and the melding of the two songs works extremely well, especially in the transition. Fuck You is such a fun song but I like the Gonna Get Over You portion just a tad bit better, since the background oh's are kind of weak in the former (minor nitpick at best!). And man that little break with the "you guys, this is serious" is so adorable.

Okay, it's time for a guilty pleasure:

It's between that, Kano, or Liu Kang for best song on the album. But I went back to that one the most. Also, they spelled his name wrong?

Talk about piling on the cheese. I kind of think the techno elements sounds like one giant fart but I like the more lounge-style female vocals for sure. About the name, that's how his name was spelled in the original MK if I can remember correctly.

Haha, definitely how I feel about it as well, though I'd give it a few scores more.

Sounds like something I'd hear on a kid's show. These lyrics are super-cheesy but the overall sentiment still makes me feel pretty good and uplifted thanks to some catchy folk-electro elements that really brings the song together.

Eh I wasn't really feeling this one. The electronic elements seam really rote here and the vocalist sounds as bored as I am listening to this song.

Yeah I love that weedly weedly sound, and that's in between absolute bursts of guitar assault to the senses. I love the vocals too which punctuate the rage incredibly well.

Nice, pleasant, and simple. Great voice and relaxing musical accompaniment too. It kind of lacks a certain pizzazz beacuse of it, but I won't knock it for what it does best.

I recently discovered this band. In the same vein as bands like Kalmah/Whispered, but with a female singer and orchestral strings. Nothing totally groundbreaking I guess, but it sure is catchy.

Just heard this one on an online radio stream. Spain has a surprisingly legit power metal scene.

Oh man, as someone that has been on the biggest Japanese city pop kick lately, this is god damn amazing. Now I wouldn't say this is really that genre but it still scratches that same sort of itch for me. The violins are epic and jolting, and the piano is moving but at the same time momentum-driving and not downbeat. And Megumi's vocals are so crisp and clean. I just love everything about it.

it may interest you to know this is a sheena ringo composition...and here's another sheena ringo composition with vocals by megumi hayashibara https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_UxWeBT1BY
