I have no idea why people were pushing or even listening to that dumbass shit a few months ago How the hell is not having a mask supposed to be better than having some form of barrier/makeshift mask? ffs walking around with a gym sock or pair of panties tied around your face surely has got to be better than nothing if your goal was to minimise spreading/contracting covid19. it made no sense at the time. Now look whats happening. im pretty sure i read a few weeks back that some places in europe its mandatory now to wear them if you go into the grocery store and stuff? There is no specific evidence to suggest that the wearing of masks by the mass population has any potential benefit. In fact, there's some evidence to suggest the opposite in the misuse of wearing a mask properly or fitting it properly, Just from the above posted article. How the fuck does that make any sense at all. And we were all expected to follow it and accept it? How is having an improperly fitted/misused mask supposed to be more risk than being 100% exposed? The cloth masks are supposedly useful in stopping you from spreading germs but not from protecting yourself against the virus so that might be why.
