So I know for guys their number tends to be viewed positively between them but for us it's not something we broadcast often (outside our circle of close friends) as many guys tend to view a high partner count negatively for us which to be frank is hypocritical bull shite but anyway. What are your thoughts on this? Does it matter to you if a girl you're with slept with 30 guys before you? And if so why? Nothing wrong with having a healthy sex life.

Do you really think it's completely effortless for us? Sure on average it's easier if I were to guess but some guys take effort to attract. Especially when you have constant competition to deal with.

Dudes caring so much about this topic is something I've never really understood, even when I was a young lad. For me, I don't ask, have never asked, and never will ask. I really don't care.

Of course someone is going to bring up the data regarding the correlation of marriage/divorce rates and the number of sexual partners a woman has had. Basically with the argument being "the more men she's slept with, the higher the likelihood of divorce. I'm not even going to attempt to dispute the research, I'll just assume it's true. That being said however, there are tons of other ways to vet a woman as marriage material without knowing her partner count.

Additionally, almost every time I ever see a girl's partner count brought up by dudes, it's used as simply a shaming tactic or the guy's insecurity within himself starts showing. The divorce statistics usually only get brought up later as some sort of means of justification for knowing when in reality, it wasn't their initial reason for asking in the first place.

The other thing I don't get about this is that most of the dudes that say dumb shit like what you quoted...they want to get married and have kids. So if you genuinely believe that a woman's privates get looser or whatever....then why do so many of y'all push for long term relationships and for them to have your kids?

Yes, of course it does. There's a realistic amount based on age and anything above that and you're dealing with either a slut, or someone who can't handle being alone so they jump from relationship to relationship like three times a year. No thanks to either.

The bolded is exactly one of the things I was referring to when I said there are plenty of other ways to vet a woman without knowing her exact partner count. You could easily use that as a determining factor instead of trying to nail down exactly how many men she's been with.

Yes.

Its subjective, but I try to be reasonable about what a large number would be. For example, if shes been fucking a different guy every month for years, its a red flag that she will have trouble committing to one person. Likewise, Im not going to give her the benefit of the doubt regarding STDs and such. Also not looking forward to a bunch of crazy ex-boyfriends who want to stalk you and her, with the potential for violence. Yeah, that has happened to several of my guy friends who dated, umm, lets say experienced women.

Im sure there are exceptions to all this, blah, blah.
