Ya, infact the store had a new blend of mixed vegetables I been meaning to try - they call it a 'sauce' blend and it has carrots, onions, red and green peppers.

I've been trying to reconstruct the red sauce this schnitzel truck in Schweinfurt used to slather all over their schnitzel sandwiches for over a decade.

Someday.... someday....

I made a mayo/garlic chili sauce/dash of ginger sauce last night for my chips.

Kinda neat I guess.

Ive tried it but I dont know enough about food/cooking/whatever to attempt to make anything that goes together.

My friend is a chef and can do this shit. While i'm standing by the spice rack thinking "okay I know I've had it but what the FUCK does cardamom taste like" and my friend can just go "oh yeah cardamom will give it the pop it needs"

so yeah either random condiments or random spices i am not good at either.

I think you described the sauce making process perfectly.

Two guys try to make curry sauce in the british empire. They have absolutely no ingredients to make it. Grabs random stuff. It taste nasty. Throw it out except one barrel crack it open and taste it to see how it taste. Inventors of Wostershire Sauce.

Two guys from america are tired of a nut and celery based sauce. Start mxing random things together finds a tomatoe left over from a past meal. Invents ketchup
