I'm already prone to hallucinations and the main reason I can't sleep is that I've ran out of my anti psychotic medication.

Don't feel good mentally, very irritable and keep feeling like I'm not properly in my body.

I did 9 days with little cat naps every couple days. Didn't stop the hallucinations, but the zoom dust made it my most productive week at work ever. I biked like 5 miles in 24 minutes omw to work one day. I beat like 12 ps2 games, but when all was sniffed and done I slept for like 30 hours

I'm no doctor, so this isn't proper medical advice, but can't you call your actual doctor and ask if an over the counter sleep aid is advisable in your case for short term insomnia?

That's what I would do.

Why not?

My general doctor's physical office was closed for a week before they reorganized and reopened, but you could still call them and talk to them.

Pharmacies are open as well.

I was told my medication would be ready today but then I called the pharmacy and they had closed for Good Friday. Not open now until Monday. Can't speak to a doctor over the weekend.

A couple years ago my medication caused me to become super antsy. I couldn't rest at all. After a few days I started seeing shadows from the corners of my eyes. Always looked like a person or something moving just at the edge of my vision. My doctor immediately swapped it out for Xanax, which didn't help too much, but at least I could sleep again.

I did an 'iron butt' motorcycle ride, 1000 miles in 24 hours. Didn't sleep much before the ride due to partying going on; I hallucinated at the 21 hour mark, and forgot where my thumbs were.

I knew I had thumbs, I just couldn't remember what part of the body they attached to.

You had to have been on adderal or cocain or something.

Nah man, I know how those things affect me and that wasn't it. I just... couldn't relax enough to sleep. I finally forced myself to sleep when I realized I could be doing serious damage, but I didn't feel tired or sick at all. I could probably do it again since I'm not working right now, but I wouldn't want to disturb my boyfriend while he's asleep with any noise I'd be making.

I did about three and a half days once without significant ill effects, but that was a special case because I had some sort of stomach problem that had me feeling awful, so most of my time was spent just sitting back with my eyes closed anyway (I guess I could have slept, but I kept checking the clock and never seemed to have gone more than ten minutes or so and I kept needing to go to the bathroom constantly anyway, so at most I would have only been getting a few minutes here and there). Longest I did normally was about 36 hours, was not pleasant but nothing too crazy happened beyond feeling like the doorknob of my bathroom was moving at one point.

I hallucinated and started having delusions at the 72 hour mark, but it could hit you sooner. Things started getting all wavy, and I started to think some leftover computer components of a gutted PC were "communicating" with me. That's when I was like yeah okay I need to sleep now lol.
